Data2Bots, an IT Consulting Company is seeking a qualified Finance Intern who is eager to grow their career in Finance. The Finance Intern will work closely with the Business Operations unit to provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive financial performance.



SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • Must have completed the NYSC program.

  • Resides in Abuja and is available to work in a Hybrid setting.

  • Demonstrates a strong interest in Finance functions and a willingness to learn.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Open to a paid internship opportunity with potential for growth.

  • Professional certifications such as ACA, CPA, CFA, or ACCA is a plus

  • Excellent understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong ethics and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations, sales, and human resources, to gather financial data and ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures, and provide guidance to the organization on financial matters.

  • Develop and maintain financial models, tools, and processes to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

  • Conduct financial analysis and cost-benefit analysis to evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess the financial health of the organization and identify areas for improvement.

  • Support the annual budgeting process, including the development of budget guidelines, coordination with departments, and preparation of budget reports and presentations

  • Stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide strategic insights to senior management.
