Career Development Lead (Hybrid)

Data2Bots, an IT Consulting Company is seeking a qualified Career Development Lead who will be responsible for providing professional employment, career counselling and planning for the Data2Bots Talent Pipeline Candidates. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Interview Preparation, Soft Skill training, CV Reviews and Career Coaching to ensure job readiness of our tech talents. This role reports directly to the CEO.


SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Management or related field.

  • 3-5 years experience in Career Development, Coaching or Counselling

  • Familiarity with the Technology Industry

  • Excellent Communication, Research and Project Management Skills

  • Sound Emotional Intelligence and a Great Charisma

  • Experience with Soft Skill training

  • Experience with creating guidelines and checklist for talent development

  • Willingness to learn Data2Bots Talent Process

  • Well grounded in career and employment counselling tools and techniques (CV, review, CV coaching, Interview Preparations)

  • Possess both Operational and Strategic thinking mindset

  • Knowledge of the IT industry is a plus

  • Experience in technology related to career coaching, resume writing and job search 


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Train tech talents on soft skills needed to excel in a new role and ensure job readiness.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive career development plans tailored to individual talents, career aspirations and goals.

  • Create and maintain a standardised career development checklist to guide talents in their various career paths.

  • Manage the entire candidate interview process, ensuring candidates are adequately prepared and evaluated against established criteria.

  • Drive the performance of the talent sourcing team by setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to recruitment efficiency, quality of hires, and time-to-fill metrics. 

  • Provides employment and career counselling to a variety of tech talents

  • Assists tech talents with interview and job search techniques, resume and cover letter writing.  

  • Receives tech talents referrals and refers tech talents to companies for employment.

  • Determines tech talents eligibility for various jobs.

  • Assists tech talents with the development of an employment action plan to obtain a long term attachment to the labour market. 

  • Completes assessments on tech talents to gather education and employment history.

  • Prepares and delivers a variety of training and presentations related to labour market information, employment readiness skills, and career and employment information sessions.  

  • Liaises and network with community partners and companies

  • Provides job search assistance, resume writing and labour market research.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent development program, including reusable training materials, video recordings, and standardized training sessions.
